In celebration of BT20, we wanted to take this moment and highlight important relationships that have made this milestone possible. Andy W. Leung, one of BT’s founders, talks about making the bold decision to start a brokerage that’s built on integrity and people.
In 2005, together with my four partners, we made a bold decision to leave the comfort and stability of our existing roles to pursue a new journey— to build a brokerage from the ground up, grounded in the principles of integrity and client-first service.
Our vision was simple: to provide more than just insurance policies. We set out to become trusted advisors — helping clients make informed decisions with confidence, supported by personalized service and deep industry knowledge.
Looking back, I could not have imagined the incredible journey that lay ahead.
Over the past two decades, BrokerTeam has grown into a thriving, multi-faceted brokerage, supported by a talented team and an exceptional network of partners. One of the greatest privileges of this journey has been watching team members — many of whom joined us early in their careers — grow into seasoned professionals and respected leaders within the industry.
This milestone is not just a celebration of longevity — it’s a testament to the trust our clients place in us, the commitment of our team, and the partnerships we’ve built across the industry.
